As I mentioned in my email Saturday, the WGIPOA Board of Directors decided to cancel the meeting planned that morning due to the request by the City for a voluntary evacuation of the west end at 10:00 AM as a result of the tropical storm Beta possibly impacting the area.

We have re-scheduled the meeting now for this Saturday, September 26, starting at 9:00 AM  via “Zoom”.  We will have the same program, Mayoral and District 6 candidate forum!  There are 5 Mayoral candidates and 2 District 6 City Council candidates.  We have given each candidate a list of questions and each will have 3 minutes to reply at the meeting.  We will rotate the order of the questions.  If time permits we will have questions from the audience.

For the foreseeable future and for the safety of our members and friends, we will continue to have “Zoom” meetings until the corona virus pandemic is under control.
