The West Galveston Island Property Owners Association has a great program for the meeting this Saturday, October 19, at the Moody Gardens Hotel, Salon B (next to the Ballroom), at 8:30 AM with breakfast burritos and 9:00 AM for the meeting.

Please note we are at the Moody Gardens Hotel for this meeting.

Also, the D’Feet  Breast Cancer ”Celebration of Life” Run/Walk event will be taking place at the hotel and we recommend to park in the convention center garage and walk across to the hotel.  The lot behind the hotel and across from it could be full.  There is plenty of parking in the convention center garage.

Program: Galveston City Manager Michael Kovacs will be the guest speaker and he will talk about the “State of Galveston” and budget item highlights for the upcoming fiscal year.

Bring your neighbors and friends and come here this great presentation.

Please note:  The meeting October 19 will be our last meeting for 2013 and we will start again with the January 18, 2014, meeting, unless the Board would like to call for a special meeting, i.e. Flood Insurance issues.
