MEETING:  The next meeting for the West Galveston Island Property Owners Association will be August 21 at the Galveston Country Club, 14228 Stewart Road, with a full breakfaststarting at 8:30 AM and the meeting starting at 9:00 AM.  So come hungry!

• Officer Edward Coronado – Galveston Police report for west end

• Galveston Coastal Resources Manager Brandon Hill – beachfront red tag and code violations on the west end

• Dr. Bill Merrell, Professor Emeritus in marine sciences at Texas A&M University,  Galveston, will give an update on the “Ike Dike”.
