The next WGIPOA meeting will be this Saturday, July 16, at the Galveston Country Club with a full breakfast starting at 8:30 AM and the meeting beginning at 9:00 AM.

Please see the attached agenda (click here) and you will see we have a great program planned with key speakers Jim Stevenson, President of the Galveston Ornithological Society to talk about “Nesting Birds of Galveston Island”; and, Peter Davis, Chief of the Galveston Island Beach Patrol, to talk about issues that department deals with on a daily basis.  We also will hear District 6 issues from City Council Member Marie Robb; We will have an update on west end police activities by Lt. Larry Chambers; and Sally Bakko on an update of the Gulf Coast Protection District.
