MEETING:  The next meeting will be Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the Galveston Country Club, 14228 Stewart Road , starting at 8:30 AM and the meeting starting at 9:00 AM.  Please note this will be a full breakfast starting at 8:30 AM so come hungry!  We usually have our meetings on the third Saturday of the month but due to a golf tournament October 20 at the Country Club, we changed to October 27.

PROGRAM:  The West Galveston Island Property Owners Association is pleased to have Kyle Hockersmith, Director of Public Works for the City of Galveston, as our guest speaker. The main topic will be drainage issues on the west end.  Kyle’s departments has a schedule in cleaning the drains in various subdivisions.

NOTE:  The Management of the Galveston Country Club has established new parking procedures for meetings on Saturday morning.  The main front parking lot will be reserved exclusively for golfers and all other parking will be on the side next to the pool, in back next to the bay, and behind the club house where the entrance is the back door.  There will be parking attendants to direct you.  If it is raining, the golfers parking lot will be available.
