MINUTES: The minutes of the February 23, 2019, meeting is on our meeting minutes page.
MEETING: The next meeting will be Saturday, March 16, at the Galveston Country Club, 14228 Stewart Road , starting at 8:30 AM and the meeting starting at 9:00 AM. Please note this will be a full breakfast starting at 8:30 AM so come hungry!
The meeting will be the start of our 20th year as an organization and we thank our members and corporate sponsors for all their support over the years.
PROGRAM: The West Galveston Island Property Owners Association is pleased to have two presentations:
- Galveston Island Nature Tourism Council (GINTC) will discuss the upcoming “FeatherFest” program and the birds of West Galveston Island.
- Beach Cleaning – The Parks Board with Executive Director Kelly DeSchaun and Director of Operations Reuben Trevino will review the beach cleaning program for the west end in the event of a seaweed infestation. The Parks Board met with the WGIPOA Beach Cleaning Committee March 15 to review a possible program
NOTE: The Galveston Country Club will provide parking assistance.
